The term "ART SLAVE" began from a small work of art that
I made in 2002. It then manifested itself as the name of a documentary that I am currently shooting about California’s art scene. Now it is the name of my first gallery located in the Gallery Row district of Downtown Los Angeles. Opening my own space has been a personal goal for me for quite some time. So you can imagine how much fun this project has been.

The Gallery will be focusing on both mixed media and contemporary wall hanging art. Although, from time to time we will deviate from this format to include installations and such, depending on what I might be inspired by. Our artist reception will always be held on the second Saturday of each month from 7pm -12am.

I would like to thank all those who actively support our efforts. Art is only survived by those who choose to harbor it. It is our hope that not only will we be able to harbor it, but also allow it to thrive bettering the lives of both our artists and patrons.
